Kissa10 occupies the second floor of an old Dorćol villa, arranged more like a record-filled apartment than a conventional cocktail bar. The main room combines a long marble counter, an open kitchen and a DJ position, with softer seating in the adjoining salon. The Japanese influence comes through in the izakaya food and the listening-room layout without turning the place into a solemn imitation of a Tokyo kissa.
Vinyl runs through regular service, not only special events. Guest selectors play records one to three times a week, and the programme has grown to include live shows, bar takeovers and matinee sessions. The record collection and DJ booth are working parts of the room rather than decorative shorthand.
Timing matters. Earlier evenings and weekdays leave more space for the music. On Friday and Saturday, stools are moved and the room becomes more party-like. Kissa10 suits listeners who want records, food and conversation in the same evening, with the option to stay when the volume and pace rise.
