Black Lacquer is Roswyn’s vinyl bar in Mumbai, built as a late-night room for records, cocktails and dining. It has a more polished hotel-bar feel than a tiny kissa, but the venue presents itself around vinyl and a serious sound system rather than a generic lounge soundtrack.
By day, the space can work as an event room. At night it shifts into a darker vinyl bar, with drinks, food and music carrying the room together. The venue format is useful here: a named vinyl bar inside a hotel, not just a restaurant with a turntable in the corner.
Best for a more dressed-up Mumbai night where records and cocktails share the focus.
