SEVEN:45 is a 40-person R&B listening lounge hidden behind an unmarked entrance in the Las Vegas Arts District. The daily password and concealed door supply the speakeasy theatre, but the stricter house rules are about sound: sit down, keep your voice below the music and let the record play.
Much of the vinyl came from owner DeAira Williams’s grandmother. R&B is the centre of the programme, moving through records, carefully chosen playlists and a featured album each night. Vintage speakers and McIntosh equipment handle playback, although exact models have not been published.
This is a controlled room rather than a loose cocktail crowd. Reservations guarantee admission but not a particular seat, walk-ins depend on capacity, and groups are capped at four. Go for a long stretch of R&B at proper listening volume, with the drinks and small plates kept in supporting roles.
