Section80Bar is a listening space inside a working production company, which explains why sound and image share the room so comfortably. A large LED cinema wall sits alongside a wine bar, a library and a small record shop curated with Berlin’s Sound Metaphors. Movable seating lets the place change shape for listening sessions, live sets and screenings.
The system was planned as part of the architecture. H.A.N.D. HiFi supplied custom loudspeakers, while HiFi Milano added Dolby Atmos infrastructure. Luca Rigat handled acoustic consultancy, speaker positioning and signal-flow integration. Pyramid-shaped absorption panels cover the main ceiling. This is the sort of technical work that usually disappears behind the walls; here, much of it remains visible.
Programming moves between vinyl sessions, DJs, live music and audiovisual projects. Normal daytime and bar service is social and flexible, while scheduled listening events give the system a more focused role. Section80Bar suits someone interested in records and sound as part of a broader visual and independent-publishing culture.
