Saikindo is a hi-fi bar and yakitori grill on Al Maryah Island, with scheduled listening nights rather than a vague promise of good background music. The main room runs DJ sessions from Wednesday to Saturday, with Thursday set aside for city-led listening nights and Friday/Saturday vinyl sets played through a L-Acoustics system.
Kukan gives the venue its clearest listening-bar shape: a 22-seat private room with a dedicated DJ, control over sound and visual projections, vinyl-led styling, and Japanese wooden speaker craftsmanship. It is not a basement kissa or a quiet independent record bar. It is a high-end Abu Dhabi version of the idea, wrapped in Four Seasons polish and Japanese food-and-drink service.
Saikindo is best approached for the Thursday listening night, a weekend vinyl session, or a booked Kukan event. The room suits cocktails, yakitori, records and focused listening more than loose late-night bar noise.
