Black Note is a second-floor jazz vinyl bar on Changhua Road in Jing’an. It is a dark loft room with comfortable seating, a dedicated record-player area, shelves of jazz records, and a bar format that lets guests choose albums from the shelves.
The system has enough substance to matter: JBL L200 StudioMaster speakers and full-album playback, both sides. That puts Black Note firmly in listening-bar territory, even if the drinks are not the main draw.
This is a room for jazz records, whisky or simple drinks, and a quieter night built around the album rather than the DJ set.
