XO is a small hi-fi vinyl lounge in Kansas City’s Westside, set inside a former garage on West 17th Street. It is seated, compact and record-led, with natural wine, Japanese-inspired cocktails and small plates sitting around the music.
The room is connected to the ESP HiFi orbit, and the format is close to a modern American kissa: vinyl-only playback, a growing record wall, a serious horn-driven system and music that moves through jazz, blues, soul, ambient and fourth-world records.
This is not a loud bar with a turntable. It is built for people who want a drink, a seat and a system close enough to make low-volume listening feel deliberate.
