Sea Sea is a 25-room surf hotel with a real listening lounge at the centre of its shared space. The room is built around records, a fireplace, deep seating, and a pair of original Klipsch La Scala speakers. Guests can wander in from the hotel, but the lounge also serves locals using the restaurant, bar, and wider Surf Club.
The permanent amplification and turntable models have not been published. The La Scalas are enough to establish the room’s intent: large, efficient horn speakers that can make music feel physical without turning every session into a volume contest. A resident selector works from the record collection, while Sea Sea Radio runs continuously through the hotel with programming developed alongside Wesley Herron of Reverberation Radio.
Regular DJ sets and live performances keep the lounge social. Dedicated events go further: a 2026 listening night with Nick van Tiel used Atlas Harmonic’s large-format Tufnel and Zeus system for an evening that moved from dinner into deeper listening. Sea Sea suits people who want records to shape the room without demanding that everyone behave as though they are sitting an exam.
