PASS is a compact Shibuya bar from the team behind Vent, tucked upstairs near Namikibashi. It is built around a custom system and a seat called the Sweet Spot, placed where the room’s sound comes together. You take it for a song, then hand it to the next person.
Jazz, dub, and hip-hop make up the core of the selection. The bar pours cocktails and natural wine, but it is not trying to be a restaurant with a better playlist. The scale is small, the music is intentional, and the best position in the room is treated as a shared privilege rather than a private upgrade.
There are no reservations. Go early, take the first open seat, and be ready to give it up when the record changes.
