Hosoi is a restaurant, bar and listening room in Stockholm’s Slakthusområdet, the former meatpacking district south of the centre. Music comes first here, and that matters because the food and wine side sits beside a dedicated listening and dance programme rather than treating records as background decor.
The space moves between dinner, bar service, DJs and live sets. It is more social than silent: the Dance Listen programme points to an intimate room built for selectors and performances, while the restaurant side keeps the evening loose enough for drinks and small plates.
The music policy is broad. Hosoi suits a night where the meal and the drinks are part of it, but the reason to stay is the sound room, the bookings and the people behind the records.
