Hidden Grooves is a 38-seat hi-fi lounge inside Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch. The room centres on Tannoy Westminster speakers and a custom Project Audio system, with more than 5,000 records behind the programme.
The calendar includes full-album plays, vinyl-only DJ sets, label nights and guest selectors. Two individual listening stations give visitors a more private way into the collection, while the main room keeps the mood social.
This is a polished hotel bar, but the music setup is not window dressing. The room has been acoustically tuned and the speakers occupy the visual and sonic centre. Start with a programmed session if the selector matters most, or use the listening stations when the bar is busy and you want control of the record.
