Diamono sits inside Terrou-Bi on Dakar’s Corniche Ouest, which is not the usual origin story for a listening bar. The room is a hi-fi cocktail bar with a Japanese kissa influence: low-lit, drink-led, but built around records and a system that is meant to be heard.
The music leans into soul, jazz, afro-funk, reggae and R&B from the house vinyl collection. The system is properly named: Harbeth speakers with Rotel amplification. That combination suggests a room more interested in tone, warmth and midrange body than nightclub force.
Go for cocktails, records, and a more polished Dakar listening room rather than a purist vinyl cellar. The setting is upscale, but the music side appears real enough to list.
