Dante’s HiFi brought the Japanese-style vinyl listening bar idea into Wynwood with Miami instincts still intact. It is a music room with cocktails, selectors, and a serious analog chain, but it is not trying to behave like a monastery.
The system has the right kind of excess for the room: Klipsch Cornwall speakers, Klipsch spatial fills and subwoofers, Altec Lansing five-panel horns, and vintage Cary Audio tube amplification. The booth uses Technics 1200 turntables on Isonoe isolation, plus a MasterSounds Radius Four-Valve mixer and MasterSounds FX.
Rich Medina’s record collection sits behind the concept, with guest selectors and genre-led sessions filling out the calendar. Pick the night carefully. At its best, Dante’s is a proper analog room with Miami energy; at its busiest, the room will behave more like a bar than a strict listening session.
