Casa del Partito is a gastro hi-fi bar inside Cremolino’s medieval centre, where wine and food share the room with a system that would look excessive almost anywhere else. Here, the large Klipsch La Scala AL6 speakers are central to the place rather than expensive furniture pushed against a wall.
The signal chain is unusually well documented: a Technics SL-1200GR2 fitted with a Sumiko Songbird cartridge, a WiiM Ultra for digital playback, and a McIntosh MA8950 integrated amplifier driving the La Scalas. The horn-loaded speakers can produce scale and dynamics without needing punishing volume, a useful quality in a small restaurant where people still need to talk.
This is social listening, not a silent full-album session. Music is part of lunch, dinner, wine, and conversation, with vinyl given proper equipment and attention. Go for a meal when you want to hear a serious system working at civilised volume rather than performing a showroom demonstration.
