Gold Line

Gold Line is one of Los Angeles’ best-known vinyl bars, founded by Stones Throw’s Peanut Butter Wolf and built around a huge private record collection. It is more bar than monastery, so visitors should expect conversation, energy, and music at a social volume rather than reverential silence. This bar helped define the LA version of the listening bar: record-collector credibility, casual drinks, and enough rare vinyl to make Discogs addicts breathe into a paper bag.
